Here are the salient details of the judging process:
I. NOMINEE TYPE
Nominees’ accomplishments are assessed based on their nominated nominee type, which could be any of the following:

- Educational
- Government (non political)
- Individual
- Invention
- Product
- Service
- Initiative, Project, or Campaign

A. JUDGING SCORE
Judging Score = Raw Score + (Judges’ Overall Score x Evidence Sufficiency Multiplier)

B. RAW SCORE (75 points)

- Industry relevance score (25 points) – Judges take into account the specific industry of each nominee and evaluate the significance of their accomplishment within that industry context. What may be groundbreaking in one industry may be commonplace in another.
- Accomplishment scope score (25 points) – Judges gauge the scope of the nominee’s accomplishment. They recognize achievements within the nominee’s nominated scope.
- Accomplishment type score (25 points) – Different types of accomplishments require different evaluation criteria. Whether it’s a technological innovation, leadership achievement, or sustainability initiative, judges tailor their assessment criteria accordingly.
C. JUDGES’ OVERALL SCORE (25 points)
Judges give:
a) Full points if the nominee’s accomplishments are what’s expected for their nominee type based on their chosen industry, accomplishment scope, and accomplishment type.
