1. Purpose
This Advertising Policy & Agreement outlines the rules, terms, and conditions for placing advertisements with The World’s Best Magazine (print and digital). By submitting an advertisement request, you agree to comply with this policy.
2. Eligibility & Ad Types
- Advertisers must be lawful entities or individuals authorized to promote the products or services submitted.
- We reserve the right to refuse ads that:
- Contain illegal, deceptive, offensive, or fraudulent content.
- Promote political or religious agendas.
- Include adult content, gambling, or any material deemed inappropriate for our audience.
- Accepted ad formats include:
- Static images, graphics, or banners (JPEG, PNG, GIF).
- Text-based sponsored content (subject to editorial approval).
- Video or multimedia ads (MP4, MOV) with prior approval.
3. Submission Guidelines
- All advertisements must be submitted via our official advertising submission form.
- Advertisers must provide:
- Complete ad content in the correct format and dimensions.
- URLs, links, or call-to-action materials.
- Proof of authorization to use logos, images, or copyrighted materials.
- Ads submitted outside these guidelines may be rejected or delayed.
4. Approval & Publication
- Submission of an ad request does not guarantee acceptance or publication.
- The editorial and advertising team reviews all submissions for compliance with policy, quality, and alignment with the magazine’s audience.
- Approval is at the sole discretion of The World’s Best Magazine.
- Advertisers will be notified if the ad is accepted and can proceed with payment.
- Ads may be scheduled for placement in specific issues or online placements at the magazine’s discretion.
5. Payment Terms
- Processing Fee: To help prevent fraud and to compensate staff for preparing your bespoke ad information kit, we charge a minimum non-refundable processing fee of 30 AUD (approximately 20 USD). This fee does not include any costs associated with actual ad placement. Payment of this processing fee does not guarantee ad placement. Once your ad kit is prepared, we will provide details on the total placement fees and other ad options available for you to choose from.
- If you do not wish to pay the processing fee and are simply browsing advertising opportunities, you are welcome to view our free information kit.
- Rates, deadlines, and payment instructions will be provided upon ad acceptance, along with all other details included in your bespoke ad information kit.
- Payment must be completed prior to publication unless other arrangements are agreed in writing.
- Non-payment or delayed payment may result in removal or cancellation of the ad.
6. Content Responsibility
- Advertisers are fully responsible for the content of their ads, including accuracy, legality, and any third-party permissions.
- The magazine assumes no liability for claims arising from ad content, including copyright infringement, trademark violations, or false advertising.
- Advertisers agree to indemnify and hold harmless The World’s Best Magazine, its staff, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or losses arising from their advertisement.
- Advertorial Labeling: All advertorial or sponsored content will be clearly marked as such by The World’s Best Magazine to maintain transparency and consistency for readers. While advertisers may suggest labeling, the magazine retains final authority over the designation.
7. Modifications & Cancellations
- The magazine reserves the right to modify, reject, or remove advertisements at any time.
- Cancellations must be submitted in writing and may be subject to fees depending on timing relative to publication deadlines.
- All fees paid are generally non-refundable. Refund requests submitted prior to advertisement publication may be considered for up to 50% of the paid fee. Once an advertisement has been published or placed, no refunds will be issued. In all cases, refunds will only be considered at the magazine’s discretion and in exceptional circumstances.
8. Disclaimers
- Inclusion of an ad does not constitute endorsement by The World’s Best Magazine.
- The magazine is not responsible for lost revenue or damages resulting from ad placement delays, technical issues, or editorial changes.
- All ads must comply with applicable local and international laws.
9. Agreement & Certification
By submitting an advertisement:
- You confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Advertising Policy & Agreement.
- You certify that all information provided in the submission is true, accurate, and complete.
- You acknowledge that submission does not guarantee publication and that the magazine reserves the right to refuse or remove any ad without liability.
